The following two dates will the first set of them:

COVID-19 and Constituency Office Operation

Dear Constituents,

Out of caution, The House of Commons adopted a motion based on a recommendation from the Board of Internal Economy that The House remain suspended until April 20th. This measure is a precaution to prevent the possible spread of COVID-19. As schools, community centres, and other large events shut down, I have decided that my office will be closed for in-person interactions.

My staff and myself will continue to serve the constituents of Oshawa, and we will deliver all services over the phone, or electronically.

I cannot stress the importance of reminding people to not panic, and to watch out for our most vulnerable. Please check on your elderly neighbours, and ensure you leave supplies for those in need. Follow the recommendations from Health Canada and your local health authorities. Canada has gotten through situations like this before, and we will do so again.

Should you need to contact my office, my staff and I can be reached at or 905-440-4868.

Colin Carrie

Member of Parliament for Oshawa

Shadow Minister for Canada-US Relations and the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario
